In June 19^th,2015, the Ministry of Education published the list of “National college innovation and entrepreneurship education bases”. According to different leading departments, the application of this list can be divided into four types: local government oriented, industry and enterprise oriented, colleges and universities oriented and grassroots community oriented. On the principle of “strictly control the total number to pursue high quality”, experts from Ministry of Education confirmed this list through field research and material review. This list contains 33 ministerial level universities, 8 local colleges and institutions, 2 higher vocational colleges, 2 local governments and 5 state-owned large and medium enterprises. NEU is among those 33 ministerial level universities。
