From August 1^st to 3^rd, sponsored by Ministry of Education Information security steering committee, undertaken by NEU, the 8th National College Students Information Security Competition was held in NEU.36 experts serve as judges, 148 teams, totally 600 students from 60 universities took part in this competition. Through presentation and Q&A, 30 first prizes, 50 second prizes, 68 third prizes and 30 Excellent Guide Teacher Awards, 5 Outstanding Organization Awards and 2 Contribution Award were given in the end. NEU had 9 teams in the final competition, and they were respectively awarded with 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes and 3 Excellent Guide Teacher Awards. NEU were awarded with the Outstanding Organization Award.
