October 24^th to 25^th, 2015, the 40th ACM International College Students Programming Competition Asian Regional sub-race Shenyang station was successfully held in NEU, and this was the highest level scientific competition that NEU had ever hosted. This competition had totally 162 teams from 111 universities, such as Chinese University of Hong Kong, North Korea's Kim Chaek industrial comprehensive university, Wuhan University, National University of Defense Technology, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Jilin University and other Asian universities. After 5 hours intense competition, Sun Yat-Sen University team and other 16 teams won the gold medal, and Xidian University and other 33 teams won the silver medal, and Hunan University and other 50 teams won the Bronze medal. Among which, the team from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics ranked first, the team from Harbin Institute of Technology ranked second, and the team from Peking University ranked third.
