In November 9^th, 2015, the Provincial Governor of Liaoning Province, Chen Qiufa inspected School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship NEU and Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base. Party Secretary of NEU, Sun Jiaxue, President of NEU Zhao Ji, the Executive Deputy Party Secretary Xiong Xiaomei, Vice President Wang Jinkuan and relevant department leaders accompanied inspection.

After listening Zhao Ji’s work report named “Build top level university in innovation-driven and serving the society”, the Provincial Governor carefully viewed the project that won gold medal in the first China “Internet plus” College Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition—CREASEN wireless motion capture sensor system, and student project incubation results—the omni-directional mobile cloud robot. He fully affirmed NEU’s work in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, serving the society and students startups. He also wished that NEU could actively join the national strategy “Made in China 2025”, and continue to use its own advantage of integrating researching, industry and studying, and make further efforts to help students startup, thus improve its own capacity to accelerate local economic and social development.
