The establishment of smart car innovation practice class relys on National College Students Smart Car Contest, mainly for upperclassman in mechanical and electrical majors, aiming at combining theory and practice, improving students' practical ability. The training contents include the basic theory and practical operation method of smart car, and they mainly cover the following aspects: embedded system principle and C program design, image processing and path recognition, sensor fusion, computer control theory, fuzzy control system design, simulation electric circuit design, mechanical structure CAD design. Students can have a deeper understanding of smart car through learning, for instance, they can study on the basic theory and designing method about smart car, improve the capability of discovering, analyzing and solving problems, and as well cultivating indomitable perseverance and spirit of team collaboration.
