Electronic Design Innovation Lab

Electronic Design Innovation Lab takes Electronic Information Engineering major as the leading, combining Electronic Science and Technology, Communication Engineering, Automation, Computer Science and Technology and the Internet of Things and other majors, facing Simulation technology, Microcontroller and Integrated Electronic Technology. The lab owns more than 40 experiment boxes and special equipments, such as high-frequency signal generator, digital oscilloscopes, scanner, precision power supply, precision bridge, and so on. The lab has founded united laboratories with internationally famous IT enterprises like Texas Instruments (TI), ADI, ATMEL, Winbond Electronics and Tektronix, owning a complete professional technical support. The lab hosted Electronic and Information Student Science and Technology Competition and provided training and guidance for Innovative Experiment Program, aiming to cultivate students’ innovative capabilities, team work and engineering practice capabilities, and improve students’ design capabilities to practical problems, so as to boost the integration of theory and practice, promote students’ comprehensive development.

Since its foundation, the lab hosted the training and guidance work of NEU participating National College Student Electronic Design Contest and its Subsidiary Invitational Tournament, Liaoning College Student Electronic Design Contest, and the lab also got outstanding achievements in competitions like National College Student Electronic Design Contest, Embedded System Project Invitational Tournament, Information Security Technology Invitational Tournament, Analog Electronic Systems Invitational Tournament, National College Students Information Security Competition, Liaoning College Student Electronic Design Contest. Till now, over 300 students have won prizes in national, provincial and university level competitions, which shows the achievements we have had in student innovative capacities cultivation, and now becomes the bridge of connecting theoretical teaching and practices.
