The establishing of ACM innovation class relys on ACM/ICPC(ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest), aiming at improving college students' programming capability and team consciousness, and cultivating high-level student players in computer programming contests.

The training contents involve large amount of arithmetic used in ACM/ICPC contests, and they include combinatorics，number theory, graph theory, computational geometry, advanced data structure. OJ system(OnlineJudge) is used in course evaluating to conduct on line real-time evaluation and have a understanding of students mastering level on courses being taken. Students will learn to use Linux as operating system which will fulfill contesting demand.
